Classic songs waited decades for their first video

The story

You'd think every song this iconic already had a video the day it dropped. Nope. Willie Nelson's 'Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain' sat video-less for over a decade until MTV shot one to tie into the Red Headed Stranger film. Billy Joel's 'Piano Man' waited 12 years for its first visual, reshot in 1985 for an MTV that didn't exist when the song came out in 1973. And Creedence's 'Fortunate Son,' one of the most quoted protest songs ever, had literally no official music video until 2018 — 49 years after it was written. These songs became legends without ever needing a video, and that's the wildest part.
