MuchMusic
MuchMusic went on air from 299 Queen Street West at 6 p.m. on 31 August 1984, and the first music video it played was Rush's The Enemy Within. This channel opens with the pre-launch Coming This Friday! promo, the off-air recording of launch night and that Rush video.
Then over a thousand videos documented on the MuchMusic Countdown, the MMVAs and the Big Shiny Tunes albums, from The Tragically Hip, Sloan, Alanis, Our Lady Peace, Maestro Fresh Wes and Glass Tiger to the international hits of the era, mixed with original off-air VHS of the VJs, Electric Circus, RapCity, the Power Hour and Speakers Corner. Every 5-10 videos, only on this channel, the Canadian commercials and Much promos come back.
An unofficial fan tribute. Not affiliated with MuchMusic, CHUM or Bell Media.
